API HAS SIGNED TODAY FOR THE PACKAGE DEAL CONTRACT WITH IDAL

API has signed today for the Package Deal contract with IDAL. API, which is specialized in plastic pipes manufacturing is interested to expand its factory to cater to its growing export needs to Europe and Africa.

The expansion project is estimated at $20 Million and will create 30 job opportunities. API will benefit from a tax break for up to 10 years, 50% reduction on work and residence permits, 50% reduction on construction permit fees, and free land registration fees among others.

START-UP WEEKEND IN TRIPOLI

IDAL took part as a strategic partner at this year’s North Lebanon Startup Weekend organized by the Center of Entrepreneurship of the Beirut Arab University. The participants who are mainly high school and university students took part in 60 seconds pitches, the top of which were whittled down to teams that are ready to develop several projects and ideas. IDAL which was also present during the awards ceremony, presented the winner of the 3rd award with a 2,000 USD grant.
