LEBANON ECONOMIC FORUM

IDAL was one of the main organizers at this year’s Lebanon Economic Forum along with Al Iktissad Wal Aamal. We took part in a panel on Challenges of the Transitional Phase in the region through an intervention by Chairman Nabil Itani.

The forum, which was under the patronage and presence of the President of the Republic, also included a keynote speech by Mr.Itani at the inauguration, through which he highlighted the importance of IPAs working together to increase FDI inflows to Lebanon and the region.

CHINESE DELEGATION VISIT

Chairman of IDAL, Mr. Nabil Itani and board members Mr. Wassim Audi and  Mr. Mourched El Hajj Chahine have met with a Chinese delegation today that is looking into the possibility of exporting olive oil, nuts, canned food and wine to China.

The delegation was headed by the Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon, the counselor, and a company representative from Complant. The delegation will tour main olive oil, roasteries, agro-food, and wine suppliers in the North and the Bekaa.

MEETING WITH THE SYNDICATE OF LEBANESE FOOD INDUSTRIALISTS

The Chairman of IDAL, Engineer Nabil Itani, met with a delegation of the Syndicate of Lebanese Food Industrialists to discuss the series of exhibitions and trade shows we will be taking part in this year to promote Lebanese agro-food exports.
