IDAL is participating at the 2nd Emigrant Economic Conference organized by Al-Iktissad Wal Aamal Group on July 14, 2016 at the Movenpick Hotel under the auspices of the Speaker of the Parliament Mr. Nabih Berri, the support the Prime Minister, Mr. Tammam Salam with the collaboration of the Ministry of Foreign affairs and Expatriates.
This conference will be attended by a number of political and social figures, leaders of the banking and investment institutions, in addition to a large number of Lebanese expatriates from all over the world.
IDAL`s Chairman Eng. Nabil Itani will deliver a speech at the opening session during which he will shed the light on the strategy which is being set by IDAL in order to enhance the participation of expatriates in local economic development. Eng. Itani will be also heading the 3rd session, which will tackle “The Intrinsic Role of Emigrants in supporting Economic Development and Investment in Lebanon”.
Chairman of IDAL, Mr. Nabil Itani, took part today in the press conference for the launch of Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal's 2nd Emigrants Economic Forum taking place on July 14 at the Movenpick Hotel, Beirut.
IDAL who is a strategic sponsor of the forum will have a dedicated panel discussion on "The Intrinsic Role of Emigrants in supporting Economic Development and Investment in Lebanon".

IDAL has spearheaded a three days' workshop to develop a national strategy on diaspora engagement and direct investments with experts from the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) 's MIEUX program. The workshop which brought together a national committee made up from prominent figures from the public and the private sectors tapped into lessons learnt, case studies, and hands-on strategy drafting.
