Presidency of the
Council of Ministers
Within its role in supporting the productive sectors, IDAL participated today at the press conference held at the ministry of health to launch the Lebanese Forum of Health Care Industries that will be organized during the first week of July. IDAL's chairman Eng. Nabil Itani stressed the need of building a strategy that will contribute in the development of the sector which bursts with promising opportunities.
For the 3rd consecutive year, IDAL, in partnership with Fondation Liban Cinema (FLC) and the Lebanese Office du Tourisme in Paris, will welcome local filmmakers at the Lebanese pavilion in Cannes between May 17-28. Also, we are proud to support this year LEBANON FACTORY 2017 which will showcase 4 short films co-directed by 4 talented Lebanese young directors. Four Lebanese young directors (Ahmad Ghossein, Mounia Akl, Shirin Abou Chacra, and Rami Kodeih) were chosen and invited to co-write and co-direct 4 short movies with 4 other non-Lebanese directors. The world premiere screening of these films will be held on Thursday, May 18, at the Théâtre Croisette.
IDAL spearheaded the participation of 8 companies in the Technology sector at the Investment and Innovation Forum, part of the Arabnet Digital Summit in Dubai.
This sponsorship came in harmony with what the Lebanese government is trying to do : to open new markets for them, introduce them to potential investors and to promote for their exports.
Simultaneously, Nabil Itani, Chairman of IDAL participated at the Digital Policy round-table for government officials on "Stimulating Innovation and Entrepreneurship" held on the margins of the Summit.
