A meeting was held between IDAL's Chairman Dr. Mazen Soueid and the Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon Wang Kejian, who assured that China got full control of the Corona virus and extended an invitation to him to participate in the China Investment Conference in September 2020. Both parties agreed on the enhancement of trade exchange between the two countries, as well as collaborating to organize a Lebanese trade mission to China, especially for the fashion and jewelry sector.

A delegation from the Bekaa Industrialists' Association, headed by Nicolas Abou Faisal, visited IDAL where they were briefed on the services and facilities provided and the programs IDAL is working to launch in order to support the productive sectors. The Chairman, Dr. Mazen Soueid, stressed the necessity of replacing imports with a local industry, with the necessity of boosting exports in order to attract foreign currency into the Lebanese market.

IDAL Chairman Dr. Mazen Soueid held a meeting with the Association of Lebanese Industrialists to announce the "Business Matching Platform" and receive their feedback on it. Part of many initiatives taken by IDAL to confront the current economic crisis. The platform, which would be launched soon by IDAL, aims at providing an opportunity for Lebanese companies in the productive sectors to attract new partners and expand and grow their business in these difficult circumstances.

A delegation from IDAL, headed by the Chairman Dr. Mazen Soueid, visited the Chairman of the Finance and Investment Committee and member of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Wafa Al-Qatami. A number of proposals and steps that would enhance the investment between the two countries were discussed. A meeting was also held with the President and Director General of the Arab Fund for Economic Development, Mr. Abdel-Latif Al-Hamad, to discuss ways to support and enable Lebanese exports. Mr. Al-Hamad expressed the Fund's readiness to support IDAL in the context of its efforts to boost Lebanese exports and support the Lebanese companies to access foreign markets.
