VISIT OF THE PORT OF TRIPOLI

IDAL's Chairman Mr. Nabil Itani, visited the port of Tripoli to oversee the preparations for the M.Leb program renewal. Itani visited first the Chamber of Commerce in Tripoli, and then headed to the port where he toured a number of ferries shipping cargo predestined to export in preparation for the recommencement of work. The program had a positive impact on several sectors, including agriculture, small industries and transport. It also impacted land fleet, which resumed work after a total stop due to the closure of the land borders.

TRIPOLI VISIT

IDAL's Chairman Eng. Nabil Itani, met with the President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Tripoli, Mr. Toufic Dabboussi, in the presence of a number of businessmen from the region. Itani toured the quality control laboratories at the headquarters of the chamber, where he checked the international food safety quality standards that are applied to ensure a high quality product. He also visited a preparatory workshop for agro food industry facilities in Cheka.

GLASS PACK SAL RECEIVED THE PACKAGE DEAL CONTRACT

 The Chairman of IDAL Eng. Nabil Itani handed over the Package Deal Contract to Glass Pack SAL project. Itani declared that this new project will cater the need of the local market to glass containers, considering that the important potential it relies on, basically,  the use of advanced technology, enable him to grow and export to the neighboring countries. Glass Pack is a factory located in the Taanayel area for the production of glass containers. The investment project is valued at US $ 30,446,000 and will provide 114 direct jobs upon completion.

LAUNCH THE LEBANESE FORUM OF HEALTH CARE INDUSTRIES

Within its role in supporting the productive sectors, IDAL participated today at the press conference held at the ministry of health to launch the Lebanese Forum of Health Care Industries that will be organized during the first week of July. IDAL's chairman Eng. Nabil Itani stressed the need of building a strategy that will contribute in the development of the sector which bursts with promising opportunities.
