The Chairman of IDAL Eng. Nabil Itani discussed with a delegation of Polish businessmen ways of economic and investment cooperation between Lebanon and Poland. Eng. Itani welcomed any initiative that would activate the economic exchange, especially in the investment field.
IDAL's participation at the LDE Conference, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Australia, was a great opportunity to promote the investment climate and the business environment in Lebanon. The conference was also an opportunity for IDAL`s Chairman Eng. Nabil Itani to meet with expatriates in Sydney and Melbourne, where expatriate affairs were discussed, focusing on how to involve the Lebanese abroad in the development process in Lebanon. On the sidelines of the conference, IDAL's pavilion witnessed the visit of a great number of expatriate businessmen who were briefed on the services and facilities provided by IDAL.
IDAL`s Chairman Eng. Nabil Itani discussed with the President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Tripoli Toufic Dabboussi the possibility of opening a Business Support Unit at the Chamber's headquarters in Tripoli. Itani briefed his guest on the services provided by the recently launched unit at IDAL and the support it provides to startups and entrepreneurs.
Upon an invitation by the Cultural Salon in Qobayat, IDAL organized a workshop to promote the concept of productive designation of the region, in preparation for the launch of an initiative aimed at establishing specialized economic clusters (one cluster, one product). IDAL`s Chairman Eng. Nabil Itani, said that this region enjoys many advantages, enabling it to emerge economically, especially in the field of agriculture, food processing and eco- tourism.
