IDAL's chairman Eng. Nabil Itani and the MIT president Mrs. Hala Fadel held a joint press conference to announce the partnership between IDAL and the MIT in the framework of the Arab Startups Competition. Eng. Itani spoke about the shared objectives between the 2 entities, namely Supporting entrepreneurs and providing communication networks, which promotes the entrepreneurship and innovation culture and contributes to the creation of new success stories. Fadel also spoke about the common vision, stressing the need to invest in youth and promising sectors, highlighting the promising opportunities in Lebanon and promoting Lebanese innovation to worldwide investors.

In the framework of enhancing the bilateral relations, IDAL participated at the Saudi-Lebanese Joint Committee meetings held in Riyadh on March 10^th and 11^th. Both sides discussed ways of cooperation, namely between SAGIA and IDAL, conferring on a potential executive program between the two agencies. The Lebanese side also raised the issue of Saudi investment in the free zones, especially in the Special Economic Zone in Tripoli. The Saudi side expressed its willingness to urge the private sector to take advantage of the available opportunities.

IDAL`s Chairman, Eng. Nabil Itani discussed with British Ambassador to Lebanon H.E. Chris Rampling the ways of cooperation. Both sides stressed the need to intensify collaboration through mutual visits and missions to be carried out to both countries. Areas of cooperation were also discussed while working on a new British-Lebanese trade agreement in the light of the Brexit.

IDAL`s Chairman Eng. Nabil Itani and the Pakistani ambassador to Lebanon H.E. Najeeb Durrani discussed ways of cooperation through promoting of investment opportunities in the two countries, instigating mutual initiatives and exchanging of technical and practical expertise in this field. Itani had received Ambassador Durrani in his office this afternoon, accompanied by Deputy Head of Mission Ishtiyak Ahmad Akil.
