Make sure before preparing all the legal documentation and filling the registration forms that the name you have chosen for your business isn’t already taken in the Lebanese commercial registry and that it does not infringe any copyright or trademark.

You can check online on the Commercial Registry’s Website if your name is already taken but it is always better to ask your lawyer to double check directly at the Commercial Registry. 

You can also check online on the Ministry of Economy and Trade website if your name is not already registered as a trademark.

The company name shall always reflect the form of the company.

Registered office: Each company should have a registered office. The office will be the main address of your company that will be used for corporate communication, tax, accounting and legal issues.
Effective offices: once your company is registered, the company may buy or rent various spaces for business only after registration.
