The Government of Lebanon through IDAL developed various export programs to support Lebanese exporters in various sectors through direct subsidies.

 

The Agri Plus Program provides targeted financial support to agriculture exporters of fresh fruits and vegetables that meet certain quality criteria.

 

In addition, IDAL developed in 2015 a successful export program called Maritime Lebanese Exports Bridge (M.Leb) to support agriculture and industrial exporters in light of the closure of the border transport areas with Syria by subsidizing some of the costs related to shipping instead of land. This program was terminated in 2018 when the border area was reopened.
