Fairs, Exhibitions and Trade Missions

Exporting companies that are looking to attend and participate in international fairs and exhibitions to meet agents, representatives, investors as well as promote their products can benefit from the support offered by IDAL and other organizations and make the most of their participation.

IDAL

We support Lebanese exporters in the Agriculture, Agrofood and ICT sectors in attending international fairs and exhibitions by subsidizing the participation fees as well as rental and decoration fees for the Lebanese Pavilion. We are also responsible for the marketing and branding material to be used in the fairs.

 

  • Agriculture Support (Agri-plus program since 2011) is targeted for fresh fruits and vegetables products exporters as well as olive oil, egg, honey and flowers exporters;
  • Agrofood Support (since 2014) is targeted for exporters of agrofood products with a main objective to support them in the promotion of their products internationally through participation in fairs and exhibitions;
  •  ICT Support (since 2011) specific to IT and software companies with a main objective to support them access major local and international exhibitions and connecting them with multinationals to expand their services and secure outsourcing deals.

 

IDAL also organizes high-profile overseas trade missions on a regular basis in cooperation with the commercial attaches located in the various Lebanese embassies abroad. These missions present a valuable opportunity for exporters to meet and promote their products for prospective buyers.

CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE

Chambers of Commerce in the various regions of Lebanon also organize official delegations and attend fairs and exhibitions abroad and help their members meet other companies and officials to win contracts and deals.

LEBANON SOFTSHORE CLUSTER

Lebanon Softshore Cluster (LSS) is a cluster for software companies in Lebanon that is managed by the Euro Lebanese Centre for Industrial Modernization (ELCIM). The cluster in partnership with IDAL support its members by promoting their services in specialized international fairs and exhibitions and help them win outsourcing contracts and hence increase Lebanon’s ICT exports.

QOOT CLUSTER

QOOT Cluster is an agri-food innovation cluster - the first of its kind in the Middle East. It is a platform where both startups and existing companies in the Lebanese agriculture and food sector come together and work on increasing the competitiveness of the sector and placing Lebanon back on the innovation map, both regionally and internationally. One of the main objectives of the cluster is them in attending fairs and exhibitions and also through networking and business matchmaking opportunities.

BEIRUT CREATIVE CLUSTER

Beirut Creative Cluster is the largest business alliance for the creative and digital sector in Lebanon.

The objective of the association is to promote Lebanese media services to regional and international markets, open up new markets for cluster members, increase collaboration between them and work on joint marketing and joint participation in international consortiums.
