One of the main features of Lebanon's economic attractiveness is its young and dynamic population. Based on the latest estimates from the Central Administration of Statistics (CAS), Lebanon has an estimated population of 4,223,553 of which 2.831 million are aged 15 years and above.
The active population stand at 1.229 million, while the inactive population (people not seeking a job or enrolled in education) at 1.602 million. The active labor force is mainly concentrated in the services and trade sectors.
